Nico Hülkenberg, who has been handed a ten-place penalty for next week's Italian Grand Prix, has admitted that the crash at Spa Francorchamps was completely of his doing, and he'll accept the consequences.

The German missed his braking point at the first corner of the race by quite some time, causing him to absolutely launch into the MCL33 of Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard got propelled into the Sauber of Charles Leclerc and went airborne, taking out Daniel Ricciardo as well. All because of the Hulk, who quite literally Hulk-smashed.

"I basically misjudged the grip level," he admitted to Sky Sports.

"It was nasty, it doesn’t look great.

"It’s my bad, my mistake.

"Today it went wrong quite badly.

"I’ll accept it and move on."

Fair play to Hülkenberg, who doesn't have any excuses but just admits it was his fault. Luckily, nobody got hurt (thanks to Leclerc's halo), and we can all just move on from here now.
