Porsche has recently been holding talks to enter Formula 1 in 2026. After the failed talks with Red Bull, now Porsche's talks with McLaren have also come to nothing. As a result, the German formation will not be seen in F1 in the coming years.

According to Motorsport-Total.com German fans' dream of seeing Porsche in Formula 1 has been definitively dashed. The Stuttgart-based carmaker has suspended its efforts to host another Grand Prix in 2026.

Staff under the discontinued Fritz Enzinger have been transferred. Enzinger was Porsche's vice-president and one of the biggest proponents of a Formula One deal.

Enzinger and quit at Porsche

These employees were supposed to take care of driving the Formula 1 preparations. So that has all but succeeded. It has now been made clear that there will be no Porsche in F1 for the next few years.

Had Enzinger not quit the moment a deal at Formula 1 had been imminent? That is a question that most likely played on the minds of many Porsche employees.
