Lando Norris has been driving for McLaren's team in Formula 1 since 2019. Besides a winning car, of course, Norris has one more thing he would like at McLaren: a return to an old livery.

Norris is experiencing a dramatic start to the season at McLaren. In Bahrain, he had reliability problems that forced him to make an awful lot of pit stops, finishing seventeenth. Also in Saudi Arabia, the young Briton finished 17th after sustaining damage to his front wing. Twice bad luck, then, but the McLaren also lacks tremendous speed.

In a YouTube video on GQ Sports' channel, Norris shows off his team's factory, which is home to many of the British team's old cars. Among other things, he stops by the silver McLarens with Vodafone as sponsor and reveals he is a big fan of these. "Started actually supporting McLaren just because it looked cool. I've asked Zak many times to go back to this livery." Since 2018, the McLaren has been mostly orange. This season, much of the McLaren is not even painted, several teams do this to save weight.
