Ferrari has finally revealed what its new Formula 1 car for the 2023 season will be called. Previously known by the mysterious name 'Project 675', the Scuderia has now revealed the name of the car that will be shown to the world in exactly a week's time: the SF-23.

Ferrari SF-23

On 14 February, the curtain will be drawn on the SF-23 at Ferrari's home base in Maranello. Following this, a filming day is scheduled at Fiorano, the team's private circuit. Earlier, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz tested in the 2021 SF-21. Test drivers Antonio Giovinazzi and Robert Shwartzman also got that chance.

With the 'SF-23' naming format, the Italian racing team has returned to the 'SF' format it used in 2015 when the SF15-T was introduced. In 2022, the team deviated from that by opting for the name 'F1-75' to celebrate Ferrari's 75th anniversary. In 2017 and 2018, the team drove the SF70H and SF71H, also referring to the number of years since the prestigious car brand was founded.
