No fewer than four Red Bull juniors will be competing in Formula 2 this year at Carlin and Hitech, which was announced in two statements on the F2 website.

Carlin will be joined by Enzo Fittipaldi and Zane Maloney next year. Fittipaldi already drove a year in F2 at Charouz Racing System in 2021, while Maloney comes from Formula 3 as runner up. “I’m extremely excited to be joining Carlin and as well to be part of the Red Bull family for the 2023 season," Fittipaldi said. "It’s an amazing opportunity and I can’t wait for the first race weekend in Bahrain.”

Maloney: “Joining Carlin in F2 and to do so as part of the Red Bull Junior Team is a fantastic opportunity after my first year of F3 last season.”

Hitech

F2 team Hitech's line-up will also include two Red Bull juniors: Isack Hadjar and Jak Crawford. Hadjar: “I’m really excited to be part of the Red Bull Junior team and continue this journey with Hitech for another year. Hopefully we can win some more races and have a strong season together."

“I am delighted to be back with Hitech for my first season of Formula 2. It will be a tough season with a strong grid but I am looking forward to what lies ahead,” said a happy Crawford.
