This is what the 2023 Formula 1 calendar looks like: 23 races, 1 newcomer

With the announcement that the Chinese Grand Prix will definitely not be replaced, the 2023 Formula 1 calendar has officially been reduced to 23 races instead of 24. See what the calendar now looks like below.

With the elimination of the Chinese Grand Prix, a four-week gap is created in April; the longest break in the calendar together with the summer break. Otherwise, the races are one or two weeks apart each time.

Newcomer to the calendar is the Las Vegas Grand Prix, one of three races to be held in the United States. Miami and Qatar return for their second year in Formula 1. Miami was first on the calendar in 2022, Qatar a year earlier. The only other change from 2022 is that the French Grand Prix will not return.

The season will start with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 5 March and end with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 26 November.
