Chris Lulham, Luke Bennett, Felix Rosenqvist and Felipe Drugovich took victory on behalf of Team Redline in the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Briton crossed the finish line first after a hectic race.

The final of the Le Mans Virtual Series looked set to be an exciting one, but it was overshadowed by several problems. There were several red flags on Saturday night after the server crashed. Each time the race was managed to resume, but it made for some turbulent hours.

Halfway through the night, Max Verstappen's Team Redline disconnected, leaving it in 13th place. Race officials decided that the team had no right to recover the lost positions, so the Dutchman chose to give up.

It was an embarrassing moment for the organisation, after which the Red Bull Racing driver added to it by stating that it was the last time he would compete in the event. However, the management stood by the decision, stating that it was complying with the rules.

It was a setback for Team Redline, but Lulham partially made up for it with his team by taking the win. He finished ahead of Josh Rogers (Porsche Coanda) and Nikodem Wisniewski (AMG Team Williams Esports) at the end of the race, doing good business for his team.
