Sacha Fenestraz has lived all over the world, but he will never forget his year as Lando Norris' roommate. The Formula E driver opens up about the time when he shared a tiny flat in Guildford with the McLaren driver.

Sharing a flat with a Formula One driver with two huge racing simulators in your living room sounds like every young boy's dream. For Fenestraz, it was reality for a year in 2018, although this was before Norris was offered a permanent seat at McLaren. In 2019, the Briton made his F1 debut.

Living with Norris

Fenestraz looks back on that time with great pleasure, although the two may not have kept the healthiest lifestyle. For instance, the French Argentine tripped over the boxes of cereal Norris left lying around and they spent their free time gaming. "He wasn't the tidiest guy I have ever met, but nowadays we still laugh about it," he told Daily Star.

Norris and Fenestraz had two huge simulators in their living room. "It was a dream," the FE driver continued. "I'm not going to say it was the healthiest life that we had, because it was all-day long simulator, all-day long playing games. But we were training a lot with our trainer, so we were training a lot and playing a lot. It was fun."
