Lewis Hamilton is a welcome guest at fashion shows and does not hesitate to wear the latest haute couture on the Formula 1 paddock. The Mercedes driver once again caused a stir in 2022 with his extravagant outfits, of which we have listed the five most striking.

5. GP Miami

Fully clad in extremely expensive items from Louis Vuitton, Hamilton arrived at the F1 paddock in Miami. The heat did not bother the seven-time world champion, he assured his followers in the caption of his Instagram post.

4. Miami GP

At the first Miami Grand Prix, Hamilton packed heavily as this outfit also came by. This time, the Brit opted for an all neon pink outfit from Valentino's autumn collection. He wore a bunch of gaudy jewellery with it, just on the weekend when race director Niels Wittich reminded drivers of the jewellery ban.

3. GP Great Britain

At his home race at Silverstone, a special outfit was obviously not to be missed. It may have been summer, but it is still Britain - and Hamilton clearly dressed for the drizzly British weather. However, there was certainly no question of drizzly colours.

2. Bahrain GP

For the first Grand Prix weekend of the year, Hamilton packed heavily. Before the weekend, for instance, he could be seen in a kind of karate outfit, but a completely different choice of clothes came along on Saturday. Of course, everyone can predict which outfit comes in at number one in this list, because it was definitely his most striking of the season - and maybe even ever. After the summer break, Hamilton appeared at Spa-Francorchamps wearing a rather remarkable headgear: a bright pink balaclava decorated with flowers.
