Lance Stroll is looking ahead to the new season with confidence. The Canadian experienced a difficult start to the season with Aston Martin, but the team eventually managed to finish seventh in the constructors' championship. For Stroll, it is reason enough to hope for a great year.

During the first three Grands Prix of the year, Stroll remained pointless, before finishing 10th in Imola. In Miami too, the driver managed to take home a point. Aston Martin then launched a major update to help Aston Martin move forward.

"I think we were far off the pace at the beginning of the year, but the guys have done a great job improving the car," Stroll reflected in conversation with Formula1.com. "We introduced a new package in Barcelona That was kind of the beginning of change."

Only twice in 2022 did Stroll finish higher than 10th place. The Aston Martin driver secured himself sixth in Singapore, while his performance in the final race in Abu Dhabi was good for an eighth-place finish. While Stroll ended the season with eighteen points, teammate Sebastian Vettel picked up nineteen more.
