Silly season among the team bosses has begun. Four changes have already been announced within the top Formula 1 teams this month. Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz thinks Ferrari has made the right choice.

Ferrari confirmed on Tuesday that the rumours about Frederic Vasseur were true. The team boss is leaving Alfa Romeo for Ferrari, where he will replace Mattia Binotto. Shortly afterwards, McLaren announced that Andreas Seidl is leaving the team to join Sauber as CEO. McLaren confirmed that Andrea Stella will take up the role as team boss. Lastly, team boss Jost Capito is leaving the Williams team after two years. It is not yet known who will be in charge at Alfa Romeo and Williams next year.

At Sky Sports Ted Kravitz responds to all the news. "The most important move is Ferrari's. They're the ones who are going to be trying to beat Red Bull to next year's title." According to the British analyst, Vasseur is a good replacement for Binotto as the Frenchman already has a lot of experience in motorsport. "And crucially he knows and has a good working relationship with Ferrari's main championship challenger and star, Charles Leclerc. They worked together at Sauber before, so I think it's a good solution."

Ferrari must stop changing

Now Ferrari just needs to make sure Vasseur stays with the team. Ferrari has had four different team bosses in recent years. "The only thing that they have left really is to hope that Frederic Vasseur is left to get on with it. That's the big question, as to whether the team boss merry-go-round that we have seen at Ferrari in recent years will continue", Kravitz ends.
