Christian Horner, in conversation with Formula1.comrecalls memories he had with Sebastian Vettel. The German quit his Formula 1 career this calendar year and, according to the team boss, that is a great loss for the motorsport class. Indeed, Vettel carried a special personality with him, according to him.

Red Bull Racing was very successful with Vettel in the past, as together they managed to win four world titles in a row between 2010 and 2013. However, Horner appreciated the driver in other things too. Indeed, Vettel showed daily that he had the best interests of his immediate surroundings at heart.

The Red Bull team leader remembers plenty of examples of Vettel's positive character. "He’s got such an endearing personality; he’d turn up with chocolates for the receptionist and the secretaries and endeared himself to everybody," Horner stated.

Horner enjoyed Vettel's accents

Besides racing, Horner said Vettel also excelled in other areas. For instance, he had the laughs when he went around imitating people, with which he had several accents on his list. "He had the ability to mimic and impersonate so many different accents, from cockney slang to Nigel Mansell… his Jean Todt was legendary."
