Who slept well/bad after the British Grand Prix

It's been over 24 hours since the chequered flag at Silverstone. `We assess how those involved feel after a nights sleep.

Who slept well?

Sebastian Vettel

Vettel beats his biggest rival in his own country, in front of his home fans. Seeing how Hamilton and the crowd reacted to the result on Saturday, the German must be buzzing by spoiling the party. And to add to that, the next race is in Germany as he holds an eight-point lead over Hamilton.

Nico Hulkenberg

His tyre strategy worked really well as he helped his team bounce back following their woes in Austria. Being the only driver who chose to run on the medium and hard tyres, he and his team must be feeling very smug. He is awarded the 'best of the rest' driver award this weekend.

The fans

What a Grand Prix it was and what an amazing end. Even though the home fans didn't get the result they wanted, the general F1 universe will be pleased to see such a battle and tussle between the best drivers in the world. As we head towards the halfway point, fans still remain on the edge of their seats. We still have no idea who will win either title.

The logistics team

The tripleheader has been hard work and extremely busy for everyone involved in the sport. But none more so than the logistics team who have had to transport everything set up equipment and pack down for three weeks in a row. They now face a little break before the next Grand Prix.

And who slept badly?

Lewis Hamilton

It's obvious. Anyone losing their home Grand Prix will be feeling down in the days following. But to lose it in that manner makes it even worse. He lost his head in the post-race interview and has had to apologise on Instagram for his reactions.

Max Verstappen

From scoring a maximum 25 points in Austria, he's hit the ground with a heavy bump. He retired with a brake issue scoring 0 points. He's still in touch with the big drivers, but the sudden emotion change must have caused a headache!

Sauber

Frustrations must be present in the minds of all those involved at Sauber. They were picking up some strong momentum, particularly in Charles Leclerc's car. But a double DNF this weekend will knock them back a little bit.
