RUMOUR: No triple header next season!

Team members believe the 2019 F1 calendar will not feature a tripleheader. Silverstone this weekend forms the third and final part of the first-ever tripleheader in the sport. Drivers and engineers have been reported tired, and it's even harder for the logistics team.

Miami is still expected to be on the list next season adding an extra Grand Prix. But with the season starting a week earlier in Australia, it might make it slightly easier. In most cases at the Austrian Grand Prix, teams used a test motorhome rather than their usual ones as they were sent directly to Silvertone from France.

Force India's Otmar Szafnauer sounded confident in his interview with RTL television.

"I was there would not be a tripleheader [in 2019] We will have about the same number of races next season."

Zak Brown, CEO at McLaren sounded thankful that there they will likely be without a tripleheader next year.

"Everyone's tired. Everyone' powering through it," he said. "My understanding is that we most likely won't have a tripleheader again next year. The conversation around 22-23 races is, I think, a few years out. I think we'll probably see 20, maybe 21, again next year."
