After the first day of practice ahead of the British Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton was amazed at how quick the corners can now be taken, and he even drew comparisons to the legendary Nürburgring.

Silverstone is the first ever track to feature a DRS zone in a corner, leaving many drivers hesitating. Do you use your DRS, sacrificing downforce in the corner and thus losing speed, or do you keep it closed, potentially losing time?

Grosjean chose the former in FP1, and he ended up in the barriers. Maybe not such a good idea then.

Hamilton, who finished FP2 in second place behind Sebastian Vettel, couldn't believe how fast he was able to go through each corner.

"I've never seen Silverstone so undulating, it's like the Nürburgring!" he told SpeedWeek.

"With all the g-forces tugging at the corners, this could be the most exhausting race so far.

"Ferrari are really fast.

"That's great for the fans, it only spurs us on.

"Copse and turn 1 go flat-out, and now that we're allowed to flatten the rear wing in even more places, the runway literally takes your breath away."

The DRS zones in corners should be able to give us some more crashes, and we've seen two already this weekend. Romain Grosjean in FP1, and Max Verstappen in FP2. Who will be the next victim?
