Numerous asphalt patches cover Paul Ricard track
Teams, drivers and media are all arriving at the Paul Ricard circuit today. A track on which the Formula 1 cars haven’t visited for 28 years. But according to Tobi Gruner, from Auto Motor und Sport, the track has been ripped up.
Just three weeks ago, Blancpain GT raced around the circuit which is the likely cause for the track issues. As a result of this, there’s plenty of different asphalt patches!
This will make for some challenging conditions, and we don’t think drivers will be best pleased with this! This isn't what track owner Slavica Ecclestone said this morning!
Track surface has been ripped up by Blancpain GT race 3 weeks ago. Never have I seen so many different asphalt patches on a track. Follow us on our first lap around Paul Ricard!
