Sergio Perez has failed to score points in the last two races, finishing 12th and 14th in Monaco and Canada respectively, whilst his team mate Esteban Ocon has taken 10 points. But the Mexican is looking to make amends by scoring heavily in F1’s first ever triple-header.

The F1 circus travels to France, Austria and Great Britain in three consecutive weekends for the first time ever. Perez spoke of his disappointment at the last two races and his desire to get back to form.

"It was disappointing not to score points in the last two races. We had the speed but I’ve just been unlucky.

"With three races over the next three weeks there should be a chance to make up for the missed opportunities. I want to turn our speed into solid points.”

Perez is also excited by the opportunity to race at Paul Ricard for the first time in his career: “There is always something special about going to a new Grand Prix.

"I have been to Paul Ricard before for testing back in my F3 and GP2 days, but I’ve never raced there.”
