Sebastian Vettel is known to be a big football fan, and the German is backing his home country to take the World Cup in Russia again after winning it last time out in Brazil in 2014.

He does have some issues with the selection of current manager Joachim Löw, but Vettel is still convinced that Germany will make it back-to-back World Cups in Russia.

"I'm just wondering who should score the goals," he asked when talking to Auto Bild motorsport.

"Mario Götze is not there, Leroy Sane is not, but the coach knows why, because sometimes our guys have the impression that they have a lot of possession, they dominate their opponents because they are so strong technically, and then just fail to score goals.

"But I trust our boys.

"They're known as a tournament team, they explode at the right time and Thomas Müller is perhaps the best example of that, so I do not rate the defeat in the friendly against Austria too high."

Vettel remembers during the 2016 Euro's that he was watching Germany play Italy while being at the Austrian Grand Prix (surrounded by Italians of course!).

"I looked at the game with some people from my team, and I screamed and suffered properly, especially on penalties, so the next day I came to the Motorhome with a big chest, but the boys congratulated me.
