Newey refuses to deny Red Bull exit rumours

Adrian Newey has refused to deny speculation he is looking for a way out of Red Bull.

The F1 designer is hot property at the moment with many teams looking to catch up with the likes of Red Bull.

The rumour it seems with the most legs is that of Newey to Renault.

Newey's contract expires at the end of the season and it has been confirmed that Renault have made contract over his services for next season.

"I still work with Red Bull and, through the partnership with Aston Martin, them as well," Newey told Russian outlet Championat, at Le Mans.

Newey was watching his son (Harrison) compete at Le Mans for Russian team SMP.

"I'm at Le Mans with my son, who is with SMP Racing, and I have nothing more to say for now," Newey added.

Abitebould confirmed at the weekend that his Renault team were interested in the designer's services as they look for a way back to the top of F1.
