Italian media note: 'Another bitter pill for Leclerc and Ferrari'

Italian media on Monday reacted with disappointment to Ferrari's performance. The formation hoped to take victory in Singapore, but had to leave it to Sergio Perez. In addition, Max Verstappen's result came up extensively.

Verstappen did not achieve the result he was hoping for beforehand. Partly because of a qualifying session in which Red Bull Racing made a mistake, he had to settle for a seventh finishing spot. It was the perfect opportunity for Ferrari to take the win, but it was too high for the team.

Verstappen got a 5, as did his team, because he messed up too much. We also saw a bad Hamilton and a great Alonso (7.5) who was held back by Alpine," pointing to his engine problems.

Clear criticism of race management

Other elements also stood out in the race weekend. For example, the race committee once again took a long time before making a decision on a possible penalty for Perez. Sky Sports Italia Finds that the management needs to think about that.
