Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin will be fined for exceeding the budget cap in 2021, according to Jack Plooij. He also knows that Nyck de Vries has signed a contract with AlphaTauri and that Pierre Gasly is moving to Alpine.

'Fine for Red Bull and Aston Martin'

According to Plooij, who has the news from a "very reliable source", the FIA announced on Wednesday that two teams will be fined for exceeding the budget cap in 2021. "There will be a $7.5 million fine and wind tunnel restrictions on two teams. That applies to both teams, Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin," Plooij told Ziggo Sport.

Plooij also knows that Nyck de Vries has signed a contract with AlphaTauri. "De Vries has signed with AlphaTauri and Gasly will sign next week. Both for two years," Plooij said. De Vries' arrival at AlphaTauri would pave the way for Gasly, who is high on the list at Alpine.
