Jacques Villeneuve loves the spotlight, and around the Grand Prix in his home country of Canada, he's going to get it, and this time he's ranted about the lack of overtaking in F1

After earlier claims that Max Verstappen is still a child, the former world champion now focusses on the lack of overtaking in Formula One.

"None of the drivers in Canada were exhausted after the race because they only had to give 80% during the seventy laps," the Canadian told Sky Italia.

"The tyres get too hot, which is why everyone takes a step back and that's why you don't have a race anymore.

"You can't possibly say that the problem is with aerodynamics, at least not on this track.

"Kimi did nothing, Lewis did nothing and Ricciardo barely showed anything.

"After a few laps of going hard they're too weakened."

Any truth to what he's saying? Is it indeed the tyres that are the problem, rather than the aerodynamics of the car?
