Rosberg: "He has the potential to win a world championship one day"

Charles Leclerc has been the talk of the town recently in Formula One, with world champions Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel singing the Sauber drivers praises. They aren't alone either, Nico Rosberg believes that Leclerc has what it takes also, tipping him to win a championship in the future.

The 2016 world champion believes that Leclerc possesses the talent and raw pace to achieve the success he needs to go on and win a world title one day.

"He has the potential to win the championship one day," said Rosberg.

"The very special drivers, even when they don’t have a good car, they manage to bring across the magic. And that’s what Charles has now been doing.

"One, two races where you just see: ‘OK, this is special’."
