The Andretti Group will invest 200 million dollars in a new factory in the state of Indiana. The American company aims to have the new headquarters fully operational from 2025 onwards. This reports Racer.

According to the team, the facility will occupy about 90 acres and the new global headquarters would add about 500 jobs by 2026. The sprawling building will house Andretti's global commercial functions and will serve as a base for the team's current NTT IndyCar Series, Indy Lights and IMSA programmes and other future racing initiatives. Currently, Andretti is still waiting to hear whether they will be allowed to enter Formula 1 from 2026.

Enthusiastic about plans

"Indiana holds an important place in the history of racing, and in my career as a driver and an owner; I’m happy to confirm that the Racing Capital of the World will continue to be the home of our global racing efforts for a long time to come", said owner Michael Andretti, who is looking forward to the new location and says he is excited about the plans for the new campus.
