Haas F1's Romain Grosjean still doesn't have any points on the board this year and currently is on a streak of nine races without scoring points, and he realises that Monaco isn't the ideal place to try and break that scoring duck.

Grosjean remains hopeful but knows that there are plenty more races where he can show what he has to offer after Monaco.

"Monaco is not the ideal place to start a new phase, no," he told Speedweek.

"Qualifying is very important here of course, and other than that you can only try to keep yourself out of the walls.

"That, and hope that something happens that you can profit from.

"I'm definitely looking forward to the race, but there are plenty of other places on the calendar where our car can do well."

The gap between Grosjean and his teammate Kevin Magnussen is getting kind of embarrassing now. K-Mag has 19 points compared to the doughnut that Grosjean still has. Last weekend and the race before, he's crashed in the most stupid fashion as well. Things are not looking up for the Frenchman. Hopefully he can turn it around soon.
