Max Verstappen won the Hungarian Grand Prix after starting from tenth place. Red Bull Racing 's World Cup leader worked his way to the front in impressive fashion, while Ferrari again disappointed strategically. In the F1 Nation podcast The podcast discusses the disappointing performance of the Italian team.

Formula 1 journalist Jesus Balseiro is among the guests in F1's official podcast where the gentlemen discuss whether Verstappen won the GP or whether Ferrari lost it. The Spanish journalist from Diario AS thinks both."At some point Max is winning because of the great pace he had. Maybe Lewis Hamilton[today] was also really fast. Some other drivers came from behind, but Max had to overtake Charles twice and that is obviously a good thing for Formula One."

Disappointing

Balseiro thinks Ferrari would have lost the race anyway, but not sure if it would have been due to strategy or lack of pure performance, he therefore finds it disappointing from Ferrari despite their good starting position. "If you start second or third you should at least be on the podium."

Also a guest is Frédéric Ferret, journalist for the French L'Equipe. He saw a disappointing Leclerc at the GP of Hungary. He led the race and has also experienced his mistake at the GP of France and the many engine problems, but this time, according to the journalist, it was a mistake of the pit wall."They didn't listen to their driver. He gives the example of Christian Horner saying he learned from Verstappen that the hard tyre was no good at the start of the race. "Charles didn't want to go to the hard tyre but wanted to continue for a long time on the medium, but still they bring him in and therefore bring Charles to hell."
