Max Verstappen got off to a great start at the start of the British Grand Prix, taking the lead from Carlos Sainz, but the Dutchman will have to start again from second on the red-flag restart.

Due to the chaos at the start and the red flag that immediately followed, the drivers did not get beyond the first sector. Therefore, the FIA opted to keep the original starting grid for the restart.

Sainz again from pole

Sainz can try again from pole position. All drivers have free choice of tyres because of the red flag. The race will continue at 16:56 Dutch time.
