The Telegraph: Max Verstappen races again like a true champion

The Telegraph explains how Verstappen ignored all the difficult conditions at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve : "It was his 150th weekend as a Formula 1 driver and Max Verstappen showed again how complete he is. Changing weather conditions, strategies, a chasing Ferrari? The reigning world champion had an answer for everything in Canada. His lead over Charles Leclerc grew en passant to 49 points."

Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad: Max Verstappen in seven-mile boots towards new world title

The Algemeen Dagblad even dares to think with some certainty of a second title for Verstappen: "Max Verstappen had little to fear from his competition in Canada on his way to his sixth victory of the season. De Volkskrant: Max Verstappen scores maximum during tricky GP of Canada

Also de Volkskrant calls the weekend in Canada a tough one, which Verstappen didn't care about: "In a weekend that challenged him in just about every way possible, Max Verstappen triumphed. Trouw also implicates Sergio Perez' s disappointing weekend, which caused the Dutchman to run hard in the championship: "Max Verstappen has achieved another victory in Formula 1. The Dutch driver won the Grand Prix of Canada in Montreal for the first time in his career and thereby strengthened his leading position in the World Cup standings. After nine Grands Prix, Verstappen already has a 46-point lead over his first pursuer, teammate Sergio Pérez who crashed out early in Canada."
