Last weekend in Baku was a low point for Ferrari. F1 analyst Martin Brundle is starting to feel sorry for the scuderia's drivers and hopes the team has some luck this weekend.

Ferrari has not been getting its act together every race. The team started the 2022 season rock solid and seemed to dominate Red Bull Racing. The roles have gradually reversed and Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez lead the championship. Brundle initially feels sorry for Leclerc who has seen a good lead in the championship go up in smoke, mainly due to mistakes made by the team.

Brundle takes it out on Sainz and Leclerc

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Brit says: "We also see other Ferrari-driven cars struggling and having other problems. If it was one problem, they could solve it, but there are several." Brundle estimates that the situation is more serious than it seems and that Leclerc is now suffering the most from it: "He could have easily won in Barcelona and in Baku probably. "

Brundle concludes, "The knife cuts both ways; if he drops out, Verstappen runs up more points. I'm sure that has to hurt. Leclerc and Sainz deserve a bit of luck this weekend."
