Red Bull weren't able to claim pole position today, but with Max Verstappen claiming the other front row position, Christian Horner knows that the victory is still in reaching distant when it comes to the race tomorrow.

"I think we are evenly matched, will be a close race tomorrow," Horner tells Sky Sports. "With these temperatures, it's going to be all about tyre degredation. It will be a long race."

Ferrari too strong despite power error for Verstappen

Verstappen was heard exclaiming that he had no power when heading out to complete his final lap of qualifying, meaning that the current World Champion was unable to put up a fight for pole. Horner explained that 'it wasn't power' but in fact, the 'DRS didn't open.'

However, the Red Bull team boss also stated that Ferrari were too strong today and praised Charles Leclerc for his performance in Q3, "I don't think we had enough to beat that lap of Charles. It was a great lap from him under pressure, but I'm still pleased with the front-row start. We will see tomorrow."
