Imola good learning moment for Ferrari: 'Head up and accept loss'

In the past few years, after four Grands Prix, we could already make a tentative ranking of the performance of all the teams. This season seems different, however, as Red Bull Racing and Ferrari are hardly inferior to each other. The figures show that too, with two victories for Charles Leclerc and two wins for Max Verstappen.

The two title rivals are hardly inferior to each other, so they keep it hugely exciting every race. F1 journalist David Treymane also sees this. In his column on Formula1.com, he explains why a real ranking cannot yet be made of the 2022 cars.

"With a better start by Charles, we might have seen a closer race, so it’s still hard to draw hard and fast conclusions about respective vehicle speeds." Indeed, both teams have now won two races and are almost equal in the constructors' standings.

Still, Treymane thinks Ferrari has the least to worry about. "They have a car that seems to have been comfortable on most of the tracks so far, so as Team Principal Mattia Binotto said, they just have to keep their heads up and accept the odd defeat. And this is not a time to take panic measures."
