Guenther Steiner is all done with all the allegations and suspicions that this year's Haas F1 car is a copy of Ferrari. In Italy, he more or less let it be known that enough is enough with the suspicions.

Steiner hits out hard at competition

Steiner has invited the FIA to look at the car. F1 teams are complaining about the fact that Haas is suddenly so fast. In previous years the team was not able to compete, but during the first races of 2022, Kevin Magnussen is steadily scoring points. Speaking to Germany's Sky Sports, Steiner expresses his displeasure: "If someone has done a good job, you should take your hat off and say, 'Good job, but next year we will do better'."

Steiner explains that despite the disappointing performance of previous years, they are also a sports team: "We are also here to beat others. Generally, these claims come from teams that haven't done well themselves. Because we are doing well now, we must surely have done something illegal. That doesn't seem right to me and not sportsmanlike." Steiner sounds angry and feels that his team can never do well in this way.

"If we have a good car, it's copied and if we have a bad car, that's where we belong. I don't think this simple way of thinking really shows intelligence. You also have to respect people; we are not here to fill up the grid," said the Haas team boss.
