Newcomer Albon enjoys highly motivated Williams team

For Alexander Albon, it's an important season. After an unsuccessful adventure at Red Bull Racing and then a season on the sidelines, he gets the chance to restart his career in Formula 1. That should happen at Williams, as a replacement for George Russell.

The first weeks at Williams are now over and the team is extremely satisfied with Albon. To Autosport.com CEO Jost Capito he says he is impressed with the former teammate of Max Verstappen. According to Capito Albon is fast, provides the right information about the car and works well with the engineers.

For his part, Albon is also happy with Williams. In recent seasons, the team competed at the back or tail of the midfield, but morale is high, Albon has noticed. He praises the great buzz in the team, which he immediately embraced. Although the Thai acknowledges only having a short relationship with the people at Williams, he already calls them great and highly motivated.

Albon believes that Williams has started on the way up. He says that the team has had a great season and wants to continue the upward trend. With a new sponsor they are very positive. Therefore Albon expects a great year and a great future for the team and says he is happy to be part of it.
