Verstappen compliments Red Bull: 'Look cool'

Max Verstappen got behind the wheel of the RB18 for the first time during the test days in Barcelona last week. Red Bull Racing's new car instilled a lot of confidence in the Dutchman, although he knows his team still has plenty of room for improvement.

Jos Verstappen's son managed to finish last season's world championship as its winner, and as the reigning world champion, the Red Bull driver has a lot of pressure on his shoulders this season, but during the Spanish test days there was little sign of this.

Verstappen used the time offered to try out his car, and afterwards he was in conversation with the official website of Formula 1 feeling very satisfied: "The car runs really well," Verstappen said. "I really enjoy driving the car, it has a nice stable balance and I think they look cool as well."

Verstappen has faith in Red Bull

The Austrian racing team is working hard on the new car behind the scenes, believing there will be a lot of competition. Ferrari and McLaren, among others, made a positive impression in Barcelona. Verstappen, however, seems confident that Red Bull can deliver a car that will allow him to take on the competition.
