For the second time in Formula 1 history, two drivers have the same amount of points with only one Grand Prix to go. Lewis Hamilton took eight points more than Max Verstappen in Saudi Arabia and so the two World Championship rivals are on equal ground.

Verstappen and Hamilton both have 369.5 points after 21 Grands Prix. A maximum of 26 points will still be available in Abu Dhabi, but for both drivers the task is simple: finish ahead of your rival.

Valtteri Bottas has secured his third place in the world championship thanks to his third place at the Jeddah circuit. The gap to Sergio Perez, who dropped out, is 28 points and therefore impossible to bridge. The battle for P5 continues between the Ferrari drivers and Lando Norris. The margins are very small.
