Red Bull Racing hopes to have a strong race this weekend. Behind the scenes, the Austrian team is still trying to solve the problems with the rear wing. In the second free practice, Max Verstappen will drive with a low downforce rear wing.

Where Red Bull normally has little trouble with the rear wing, two weeks ago it was a problem. On several images it was clearly visible that Verstappen's rear wing moved quite a lot, causing the Dutchman to create less speed than necessary. It, therefore, didn't help Verstappen to beat Hamilton.

This weekend Red Bull hopes to have no more problems with the problem. According to Motorsport.com Verstappen will drive with a low downforce rear wing in the second free practice. Earlier in the day, the team put a medium downforce rear wing on his car. With that rear wing, Verstappen had trouble in Qatar.

Possible world championship for Verstappen

The Austrians face an important weekend. Prior to the weekend, Verstappen is eight points ahead of rival Lewis Hamilton, but the race in Saudi Arabia could change that. However, should Verstappen win and Hamilton have a poor race, it is also possible that the Dutchman will take home the world title this weekend.
