Lewis Hamilton was able to match Michael Schumacher in the number of world titles won this season. Both drivers have won the Formula 1 World Championship seven times in their careers and this has led to many comparisons lately. In any case, Mick Schumacher believes that Michael is the best driver ever.
"For me, he is the all-time best in this sport, to which he has given his all," says Mick in an interview with Bild. The young German is not afraid to say that out loud either. "I don't see why I should disregard that."
Next season Schumacher Jr. will make his debut with Haas F1. His name will of course be mentioned in the same breath as his father's. "I'm OK with that," the Formula 2 champion responds. "All the questions and comparisons with my father do not bother me."
Mick's debut season will be accompanied by a lot of media attention. In Australia he will make his Grand Prix debut at Melbourne Park. "It will generally be a very special moment. It will certainly be a very moving moment, but I want to stay focused on my objectives, my races and the work with the team," it sounds mature.
