This is what Hamilton needs to win his sixth F1 world championship in the US GP

It might seem that Lewis Hamilton has plenty of work to do in the United States Grand Prix after qualifying in P5, but that's not the case in terms of his push for his sixth F1 world champion. But the Brit would of course love to celebrate that title with a victory in Austin.

There's just three races left in the 2019 F1 world championship, and the 34-year-old has one hand on the trophy. Hamilton is 74 points clear of his nearest rival Valtteri Bottas. There are just 78 points left available.

Bottas, Hamilton's Mercedes teammate, must win the United States Grand Prix to keep the title race alive. However, if this happens and Hamilton finishes in 8th place or above the British driver will win his 6th title.
