Weather forecast for the Russian Grand Prix

2019-09-28 20:24:08 by Louis Shaw

The Russian Grand Prix is set to be a fascinating race. Charles Leclerc has qualified on pole position with Lewis Hamilton starting alongside him. The forecast is looking a little bit changeable and it has rained at the circuit already this weekend but it looks like things will be dry for the race.

The BBC are reporting a 25% chance of rain at 9am in Sochi tomorrow morning. The chance of rain decreases closer to the start of the race but teams will be keeping an eye on their satellite images to see if the weather could impact their strategy.

It's set to be a cloudy day with a gentle 7mph breeze which shouldn't impact the drivers too much and the air temperature is around 20oC.

Hopefully, the weather won't play a part in the Grand Prix and we can see some good Formula 1 racing.
