2019-06-09 13:08:59 by Louis Shaw

It's race day! The Canadian Grand Prix is set to take place later on this evening and it looks like Mercedes' dominance could be put to an end by Ferrari. Sebastian Vettel qualified pole with Lewis Hamilton starting in 2nd. It is set to be a dry race and the fact that overtaking is possible, it should be an exciting one too.

There is a reported 0% chance in rain during the race with a maximum temperature of 24c. The track temperature is set to be between 45c and 50c and managing the tyres during the race could play a part in the outcome of the race.

There will be some cloud cover with some gusts of wind coming across the track meaning that drivers will have to choose their entry points to the corners carefully.

It is set to be an exciting race and it will be interesting to see if Ferrari can stay on top.
