Pirelli themselves can't make any strategy predictions for Mexican Grand Prix

Ahead of each Grand Prix, Pirelli usually comes up with a strategy prediction (which usually turns out wrong). But today in Mexico, the tyre suppliers have stated that they can't call the best strategy.

"In principle, a two-stopper is the fastest, but we recommend that all teams remain flexible. The weather could just turn around, causing the rain tyres to come out. And even if it stays dry, the question is what to do. If you can stretch the hypersoft for a long time, it can also be used for a single stop," Mario Isola says.

The next question is, how much of which rubber is available for drivers to use. Max Verstappen is running thin. He doesn't have a set of new ultra softs, but an extra set of supersofts.

Add the weather into the mix. Rain is forecast for the back end of the race. This Grand Prix could be rather exciting!
