FIA president and former Ferrari team principal Jean Todt has revealed that he visits his former driver Michael Schumacher at least twice a month in his house in Switzerland, as the German is still recovering from his skiing accident five years ago.

The Rekordmeister was in a coma after getting seriously injured on a skiing trip, and he hasn't made a public appearance since then. French magazine Paris Match knows that the Frenchman makes the effort to visit the seven-time champion multiple times a month.

Schumacher currently lives in Gland in Switzerland in a house that looks out over the Geneva lake. While almost nothing is known about the exact condition the German is in, close relatives have said that if he's placed in his wheelchair with a view over the lake, "Michael cries sometimes."

That's a very sad thing to hear about the most successful driver in F1 history, who saw his son Mick become Formula 3 champion today after an incredible second half of the F3 season.
