Force India MAY NOT race this weekend in Belgium!

Some legal problems are still ongoing in the Force India garage. These legal problems may prevent them from racing this weekend in the Belgium Grand Prix.

In the week before the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Pink Panthers went into administration. The process was started by current driver Sergio Perez who hoped to help save his team from going under.

During the height of the summer break, Force India came out of administration after Lawerence Stroll brought the team.

However, ongoing troubles may well prevent the team from racing. As a result of Vijay Mallya and Subrata Roy owning 85% of the shares, consent from 13 Indian creditor banks is required to close the sale of the company. According to RaceFans, this consent hasn't been given.

Because of this, the team must enter and race as a new entity. They still have time to sort out a deal, but with first practice less than two days away, something needs to be sorted quickly.
