MSC Cruises is to join forces with Formula 1. This would allow fans to book a cruise package and watch the race from the sleeping cabin. The MSC Virtuosa, which is the name of the cruise ship, will be in the port of Abu Dhabi from November 23 to November 27.
For diehard supporters, there are even packages where you can attend the exclusive events at the circuit, Formula1 reports on its official site. The packages are on sale from today.
Domenicali is enthusiastic
Stefano Domenicali, CEO of the Formula One Group, commented on the announcement: “We are thrilled to join forces with MSC Cruises and bring fans a unique and unparalleled hospitality experience during the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix."
For this unique experience, of course, the wallet may be drawn. Four nights on the cruise boat for two people comes to around 1,700 euros. That doesn't include the 'premium hospitality' experience, you haven't flown there yet and you haven't spent any money there on the spot. So that will be an expensive bargain.
