Now the team have secured a future, the Force India workforce are back on the search for car upgrades. They hope to have them on the car ready to go at Spa, but the team principal is aware this is a push and will accept them in time for Monza.

The takeover group led by Lawernce Stroll can start pumping money in. Otmar Szafnauer has set a tight target for the new components. With this onboard, they will be hoping they can challenge Haas and Renault for 4th place.

"There are some components that have been put on hold, and I don’t know where the suppliers will get to because they don’t work over the break," Szafnauer told Motorsport.com.

"So, we’re only going to have a couple of days before Spa. But if not before then, before Monza."

Szafnauer confirms the Pink Panthers are already working on their 2019 car. If it'll remain pink and under the Force India is yet to be known.

"We definitely need the funding otherwise this doesn’t work," he added.

"We have to start paying our suppliers and purchase some needed materials for both upgrades for this year and for next year’s car."

Overall, even if you're not a fan of Force India, it's brilliant news for the sport!
