Staff of McLaren have sent a cry for help to former boss Martin Whitmarsh to try and save the F1 team.
The management at McLaren have come under a lot of scrutiny following underwhelming performances this season.
According to the Daily Mail, the staff were not happy at Eric Boullier's post-race debrief following the Canadian Grand Prix last week.
"Enough is enough," said one source.
"A delegation is being pulled together!
Whitmarsh spent an incredible 25 years with the English car manufacturer, before leaving in 2014.
This isn't the first time he's been contacted about the situation at McLaren since he left four years ago.
"People at McLaren said they would send me a letter about the situation," Whitmarsh revealed.
"I told them not to send it to me, but to Mansour (Ojjeh)."
Whitmarsh is close to the company's shareholders and has been friends with French-Saudi multi-billionaire Mansour Ojjeh for a long time.
The former McLaren team principal was not frightened to let his concern show at the Spanish GP last month to Ojjeh.
"I piled in a little bit," Whitmarsh admitted.
"I love the team and I am desperately sad to see what it has become.
"It needs a change of approach. There is too much politics between the main figures.
"I think a number of them have to go. I have explained my view to Mansour and it is for the shareholders to decide what to do.
Boullier has come under threat due to poor performances from the most successful British side in F1 history.
One source has said that "He's lost the dressing room".
