The competitors of the 2022 Dakar Rally have finished a day of rest, leaving them ready for the seventh stage. With a total of twelve days of racing, the legendary event is over halfway through and the rankings are cautiously beginning to take shape. On Sunday, however, the competitors have the opportunity to turn the rankings upside down again.
Motorcycle Results
Jose Ignacio Cornejo Florimo won the seventh stage in the motorcycle category. The Chilean set consistently fastest times from the first checkpoint, keeping Kevin Benavides and Joan Barreda Bort behind him.

Sebastien Loeb came out on top in the car category, closing in on class leader Nasser Al-Attiyah, who finished second at just over five minutes. Carlos Sainz Sr. completed the top three, crossing the line almost eight minutes after Loeb.
